No sitting Ealing Councillor has signed the Pledge for Palestine or confirmed support for our Petition Motion. This is extraordinary noting Councillors have signed across all other London Boroughs.
Candidates from the Greens and Ealing Community Independents (ECI) have agreed to support our motion and the Pledge for Palestine and to date 50 Candidates have signed up along with an Independent for TUSC.

Timeline since Petition Submission
16th Feb 2026 - Our petition with 4974 signatures (required min 3671) was submitted to Ealing Council - Thank You All
25th Feb 2026 - The Mayor refused to add our debate to the upcoming 3rd March full Council Meeting Agenda
26th Feb 2026 - We wrote to the Mayor expressing our dissatisfaction and this delay and the inaction of the Council to date amounted to democracy denied !
3rd March 2026 - Protest at Council Meeting and Question on Ethical Investments refused at meeting
6th March 2026 - Councillors issued request for commitment to petition debate and motion post election and Pledge for Palestine beforehand
17th March 2026 - Publication of Councillor responses to Pledge and Motion Commitments
