Petition Submitted
We needed to collect 3671 manual signatures from residents (1% of population at last census) of Ealing of all ages (recommended 12+) so the Council can debate the motion proposed here fully.
On the 16th February we submitted 4974 signatures and exceeded the required deadline.
On the 25th Feb the Mayor refused to put out petition on the Agenda of the next Council Meeting on the 3rd March 2026. We are protesting against this decision and will update you on the finally agreed date.
The new Council rules for petitions ( previously it was 1500 signatures of residents, workers and students and could be a mix of online and manual) made it a lot harder now but with your help we know we can do it !
